Brother and sister win $1 million on WESTERN MAX!
Fort Qu’Appelle siblings plan to share winnings with family
“When it comes to money, I often think about a quote I read a long time ago,” said Michele Hahn. “‘Money is like manure; it’s only good if you spread it around.’”
And that’s exactly what Michele and her brother Gerhard plan to do after winning $1 million on the January 11 WESTERN MAX draw.
“I think the most important thing we’re both going to do is share with our family,” said Michele. “I’ve always thought that helping loved ones is the best feeling.”
Gerhard agreed with his sister.
“We both decided a long time ago that if we ever won the lottery, a lot of people would benefit from the win,” said Gerhard. “It’s really nice that we’re able to make things easier for everyone.”
The Hahn siblings’ $3 quick pick ticket was purchased as part of a $24 Super Pack. Michele bought the winning ticket at the Pharmasave located at 203 Broadway Street in Fort Qu’Appelle. Their winning numbers were 2, 25, 34, 36, 37, 46, and 49.
