CHRISTOPHER LAKE RESIDENT CLAIMS $100,000 EXTRA LOTTERY PRIZE!
Cheryl Gusdal is dreaming of tropical destinations thanks to a major lottery win. The Christopher Lake resident won $100,000 on the October 16 EXTRA draw.
Gusdal bought her $6 PICK 3 and EXTRA ticket for the October 15 and 16 draws from 2nd Avenue Shell, located at 149 16th Street West in Prince Albert. She discovered her win when she checked the winning numbers online.
The winner didn’t realize at first just how much she had won.
“I saw I had matched the last three numbers and thought, ‘Wow, that’s $100,’” she remembered.
Gusdal soon noticed she had matched more than just three digits. In fact, she had exactly matched the last six of seven digits in the winning EXTRA number – 5718388. That meant she had won the game’s second-highest prize: $100,000.
The happy winner said she plans to use some of her windfall to travel to Hawaii with her family.
“It’s always been my dream to take the kids on a big vacation,” she said. “Now, it will finally happen!”
