REGINA RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION ON LOTTO 6/49!

Mae Mock is Regina’s newest lottery millionaire. The city resident won the $1 million guaranteed prize draw on the Saturday, July 29 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

Mock bought her $10 quick pick ticket on the day of the draw, from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Kiosk located within the Southland Mall. She returned to the same kiosk the next day and asked the clerk to check the ticket for her.

The lucky winner was shocked when she discovered she had won a million dollars.

“I couldn’t believe it!” she remembered.

Mock said she hasn’t yet made any plans for her windfall and plans to save it for now.

“You never really think you’re going to win big,” she said. “I have time to think about it.”

The winning guaranteed prize draw selection on July 29 was 37380249-02.

Mock is the seventh lottery millionaire in Saskatchewan so far in 2017, and the first of the year in Regina. In 2016, eight lottery prizes of a million dollars or more were won by residents of the province, including two in Regina.

Saskatchewan Lotteries is the fundraiser for more than 12,000 sport, culture, recreation and community groups.
