$100,000 LOTTO 6/49 WIN IN SASKATOON

Rosanne Carl discovered she was a $100,000 winner while running errands. The Saskatoon resident won on the March 31 draw.

“I was out and about with my son, and I scanned my ticket,” she said. “The prize amount flashed on the screen, and we just stood there staring at each other.”

“I scanned the ticket a second time and started counting the zeros – we couldn’t believe it!” she said.

The shocked winner said she wasn’t sure if she had won $10,000 or $100,000, so she drove to a second store to scan her ticket again.

“I had to be sure,” she said. “When I got confirmation that I won $100,000, my son and I fist-bumped. I was completely stunned!”

The Saskatoon resident won one of 25 $100,000 guaranteed prizes drawn on March 31. Her winning number was 36328097-04.

Carl said she is going to take some time to decide what she wants to do with her windfall. “I think I still need some time to let it all sink in,” she said.

Carl purchased her winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket at Greg’s Grocery Plus, located at 3501 11th Street W in Saskatoon.
