$82 million (est.) in combined LOTTO MAX top prizes on Friday, July 13

Despite the common superstition, this Friday the 13th has the potential to be a very lucky day for LOTTO MAX players.

Just one month after setting a new jackpot record, LOTTO MAX has sky-rocketed right back up to the $60 million maximum jackpot. But that’s not all!

On Friday, July 13 – that’s right, Friday the 13th – the LOTTO MAX jackpot is an estimated $60 million, plus an estimated 22 MAXMILLIONS draws for $1 million each. That’s a combined $82 million in top prizes!

If Friday’s $60 million jackpot is won in the West, the winner or winners will join the ranks of previous LOTTO MAX jackpot winners in the region. That group of lottery superstars includes one $60 million and four $50 million jackpots in Alberta, a $60 million win in Saskatchewan, and a $50 million windfall in Manitoba. The biggest jackpot win in the North is a $25 million prize won in Faro, Yukon.

The biggest prizes ever won in the region on a Friday the 13th came in July 2012. One ticket purchased in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and one purchased in Regina, Saskatchewan shared the $43.5 million jackpot that night. Each of those winning tickets won about $21.7 million. Not bad for an “unlucky” day!

LOTTO MAX tickets are available for purchase until 7:30 pm on Friday evening. The winning numbers and prize breakdown will be posted to as soon as they’re available.
