Saskatoon resident wins $100,000 on EXTRA
Jamie Fiddler is still having a hard time believing his LOTTO MAX ticket made him $100,000 richer. The Saskatoon resident won his prize on the May 11 EXTRA draw.
“I checked my ticket on the self-checker,” he said. “When all of the zeros popped up, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
Fiddler said he took his ticket to the store clerk to double-check his ticket.
“I was completely flabbergasted,” he said.
The surprised winner said he’s still deciding what to do with his winnings, but has come up with a couple ideas for his windfall.
“I have a holiday booked in June, so some of the winnings will go toward that,” said Fiddler. “After that, I’ll probably put money away for my kids and grandkids.”
Fiddler purchased his winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at ESSO Clarence, located at 921 8th Street East in Saskatoon. He won matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number, 6680912.
