How To Claim

You must hold a valid winning ticket to claim a prize. Make sure that your ticket is signed and complete the Claim Form on the back of the ticket. Prizes up to and including $1,000 may be claimed at any Lottery Ticket Centre offering the service.

Prizes over $1,000 and merchandise prizes may be claimed at our Prize Payout offices in Regina or Saskatoon, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Prize claims of $10,000 or more require an appointment and valid identification is required (two pieces of Government-issued ID with one piece being photo ID) when claiming a prize at a prize office. Please call with any questions related to acceptable identification.

Prizes At Retail By Mail Prize Payout Office Additional information
Up to $100* Prizes up to $100 are automatically validated when scanned by a lottery terminal, and retailers are required to pay these prizes, or to make arrangements to do so.
Over $100 to $1,000** Ask the retailer if they have available cash to pay your prize. Lottery retailers are not obligated to pay prizes over $100. If a ticket wins $100.01 or more, the retailer can cancel the validation, and direct you to claim your prize at another retailer or from a prize office.*
$1,001 to $9,999.99 Call 1-800-665-3313 for instructions.
$10,000 and over Call 1-800-665-3313 for instructions.

*Stores or franchises may choose not to redeem prizes of over $100 for a variety of reasons, which may include security concerns about keeping large amounts of cash on the premises. Lottery retailers are independent businesses, and we respect their right to make such decisions.


Please contact Customer Care at 1-800-665-3313 during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, prior to sending claims by mail or going to a prize office. Wins of $10,000 or more require an appointment.

If you are claiming a prize by mail, please print your legal name, address, and daytime telephone number on the Claim Form on the back of the ticket. Depending on the amount won, a copy of your identification may be required.  All risks of sending tickets through the mail remain with the player.

Myth: I’ve been playing the same numbers for 20 years – they must be due to come up soon!

Fact:  Draws are random.  The numbers are not spread out along a conveyor belt with each draw bringing your set of numbers closer.  No numbers are ever “due” and persistence, in this case, makes no difference.
