Proceeds from the sale of lottery tickets, such as LOTTO 6/49, LOTTO MAX and Zing (Scratch 'N Win) tickets are the main fundraiser for more than 12,000 volunteer sport, culture, recreation and community groups in Saskatchewan. These lottery tickets are sold through a network of about 900 retailers across the province.
Sask Sport Inc. operates Sask Lotteries as the fundraiser for sport, culture and recreation through a licensing agreement with the Government of Saskatchewan to operate major lotteries in the province.
Sask Lotteries markets lottery schemes jointly with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation in Saskatchewan, processing applications for lottery agreements, and entering into agreements to sell, advertise or distribute lottery products through a province-wide network of Retailer locations. Sask Lotteries is responsible for developing programs and procedures, training, maintaining files and agreements, and provides lottery products and services to the retailer network.
