STORY - SASKATOON COUPLE WINS $109,210 ON LOTTO 6/49!
Robin Robertson had a very eventful coffee break! Robin discovered that she and her husband, Scott, had won $109,210.30 on the September 13 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
“I was checking tickets from my Super Pack on my break from work,” said Robin. “None of them were winning anything, but then I scanned the winning ticket. I thought we won $1,000!”
Robin took the ticket to the store clerk and realized she won much more than she thought. After she told Scott the news, the lucky couple celebrated together.
“We did a happy dance in the driveway,” she said. “We’re really happy!”
The Robertsons are beginning to make plans for their winnings, starting with a long-awaited trip.
“It has always been Robin’s wish to go to Ireland and jump over to Scotland, too,” Scott said.
Robin purchased their winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket at the Co-op Gas Bar, located at 35-810 Centennial Blvd in Warman. They won their windfall by matching five of the six main draw numbers and the bonus number.
