$100,000 WESTERN MAX win in Warman
Tim Nilson scanned his WESTERN MAX ticket four times before he finally believed he won $100,000 on the May 14 draw.
“I scanned my ticket in-store,” he said. “I had to ask the cashier to scan the ticket for me so I could count out the zeroes.”
After confirming he won $100,000, Nilson immediately went home to tell his wife, knowing she would be even more excited than he was.
The Warman resident said he has not decided what to do with his windfall yet and will take his time.
Nilson purchased his WESTERN MAX ticket at Pinnacle Gas & Food – Central, located at 1305 Central Ave. in Saskatoon. He won his $100,000 prize by matching six of WESTERN MAX’s main draw numbers and the bonus number – 13, 19, 22, 26, 34, 48 and the bonus, 2.
